Job Title: Finance Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Operations Lead to join our team at Kassen Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing fund operations, managing financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements under US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, including tracking key fund and investment performance metrics.
  • Fund Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of fund operations, including investment closings, liquidity management, compliance, and responding to investor inquiries.
  • Valuation Process Oversight: Supervise quarterly valuation processes for fund investments, ensuring thorough review and accuracy.
  • Collaboration with Service Providers: Work closely with external service providers to guarantee timely and precise reporting to investors.
  • Audit Coordination: Lead internal and external audit preparations, maintaining comprehensive control documentation and addressing audit queries.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA designation (or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • At least seven years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally within private funds or investment management.
  • Strong understanding of fund operations and complex ownership structures.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving results and professional growth.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel, with a focus on process efficiency.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
