**Salary or Pay Band:** Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440

Job Responsibilities

The Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and patient/resident flow of the integrated facility. This includes:

  • Facilitating the encouragement of critical thinking skills of the nursing staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.
  • Coordinating the day-to-day activities of the nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant long term care nursing experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable.
Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Basic - Change management skills.
  • Basic - Computer skills.
