We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Northern Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse Coordinator will provide first-line supervision to LPN nursing staff and unregulated care staff, and provide nursing care to an assigned group of residents/patients/clients according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line supervision to LPN nursing staff and unregulated care staff
  • Coordinate the work of the LPN and unregulated care staff on the unit(s)
  • Make and adjust work assignments, provide work direction, and schedule staff
  • Monitor and follow up on the work of staff to ensure outcomes of care are achieved
  • Provide nursing care to an assigned group of residents/patients/clients
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved school in Practical Nursing
  • Two (2) years' recent, related clinical and/or supervisory experience in a community health setting
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes
