  • Identify key technology challenges and study innovative architectures, technologies, components, and algorithms to overcome these challenges.
  • Design, simulate, and analyze photonics-based systems for compute, interconnect, and optical communications.
  • Develop innovative designs and architectures to achieve challenging goals and create IP.
  • Produce high-quality documentation and technical reviews.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or relevant discipline with 3+ years of research experience or MSc degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in photonic simulation tools such as Lumerical, COMSOL, or Optiwave.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and C.
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Strong teamwork spirit and adaptability.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative, research-oriented environment.
  • General knowledge of machine learning techniques and/or optical communications for DCN.
