About This Opportunity

Black & McDonald's Southern Ontario Utilities team is expanding its operations, and we're seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and directing assigned projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with the preparation of project reports, progress schedules, and other documentation as required.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or senior leadership.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in project coordination or a related field, preferably in the construction sector.
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • Proficient knowledge of construction scheduling, planning, and execution, as well as minor estimating and take-offs for civil works.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and financial statements.
  • Proficient user of MS Office, Procore, and other relevant software.
