Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support the well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and lead the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the care continuum.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current acute nursing experience, preferably in a similar setting.
- A satisfactory employment record and a commitment to maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing education program and successful completion of a relevant post-basic program, if required.
- Current B.C.L.S. certification and active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses, Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
In addition to the above requirements, we prefer candidates who possess:
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills and ability to prioritize care for individual patients or groups of patients.
- Ability to recognize and pursue self-development opportunities and adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Proficiency with computers, software programs, and applications such as Windows and Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
This position requires a moderate to heavy physical effort and working in a demanding and stressful environment. The successful candidate will also be required to undergo a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.

- An estimated annual salary range of $83,196 to $94,475, based on experience.
