We are seeking a skilled Collection Specialist to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and building of manual shelves for evergreen and seasonal experiences of our clients. You will also create relevant experiences for customers by understanding merchandising fundamentals, cross-categorization of the assortment, and event category requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and maintain events collections data from multiple sources, including commercial planning tools, pricing tools, and merch portals.
Use Microsoft Excel to provide a cleaned-up view of items participating in the event, utilizing pivot tables, vlookups, and percentage calculations.
Create manual event shelves, pinning hero items to create a relevant and enticing shopping experience for customers.
Maintain the shelf in-event by working with the site merch lead on event trends, customer engagement, search data, and competitor analysis.
Review event content scorecards and provide a summary to stakeholders, highlighting key areas of opportunities across different departments and SBUs.
Research, document, and maintain best practices for digital and mobile experiences across key experiences.
Collaborate with technology teams to apply automation to ensure site experiences are personalized, data-driven, and optimized to generate long-term customer loyalty.
Qualifications
Skills and Knowledge
Practical, Technical and Professional Knowledge/Skills Subject Matter Expertise, Deep experience with web analytics and customer research
Problem Solving Develops comprehensive solutions, ability to work in an agile environment
Purpose of Communication Persuading, presenting data and site experiences
Qualifications:
University Degree or equivalent experience in lieu.
2+ years of experience required.
