Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced nurse who can work collaboratively with our interprofessional team to deliver comprehensive care to medical patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in acute medicine and possess excellent clinical skills, analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients on the AAU unit.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions throughout the patient's stay.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions about patient care.
- Develop and implement education plans to promote patient empowerment and independence.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute medicine.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary range of $105,000 - $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
