Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced RPN to join our team as a Home Health Care Nurse. As an RPN with Bayshore, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team to provide comprehensive nursing care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing client care by utilizing skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching. You will also perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as Standards of Nursing Practice defined by the provincial licensing body.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide client care by utilizing skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching;
- Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as Standards of Nursing Practice defined by the provincial licensing body;
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities;
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures;
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information.
Requirements
- Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or equivalent;
- Current registration with the provincial licensing body;
- Previous experience in the acute care sector, long-term care, or demonstrated clinical competencies;
- Positive interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written;
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, decision-making skills, ability to prioritize;
- Evidence of current CPR certification.
