Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Practice Leader to join our team. This key role will be responsible for providing clinical guidance, education, and research support to our Divisions and National Development Centre departments, ensuring the delivery of quality care that meets internal and external professional practice standards.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert clinical guidance and support to staff members, promoting compliance with federal and provincial regulations, as well as internal policies.
  2. Serve as a valuable resource on the Clinical/Quality Response Team (CQRT).
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of Provincial regulating body guidelines and liaise with them as needed.
  4. Review, research, edit, and disseminate Bayshore's policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and currency with best practices.
  5. Lead clinical projects identified by the Director of Clinical Programs.
  6. Collaborate with Divisions and NDC Departments on approved projects.
  7. Conduct clinical analysis and research on best practices and clinical issues.
  8. Promote the adoption and sustainability of integrated digital health systems.
  9. Drive efficiency in system utilization for safe, high-quality evidence-based care.
  10. Participate in ongoing education activities.
  11. Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  12. Engage in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing or a Master's degree in a health-related field.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Solid knowledge of community nursing principles, practices, and methods.
  • Experience in developing community-based care and client teaching programs.
  • Theoretical frameworks and research application expertise.

Salary Estimate

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
