Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Generalist



Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Sudbury, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in and supporting various HR programs and initiatives, including full cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees in English and French
  • Partner with employees and leadership to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Coordinate and organize full cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
  • Administer employee files, utilize HRIS systems, and prepare reports
  • Research and investigate ESA and MOL standards to update current policies and practices
  • Coordinate training programs and maintain necessary documentation
  • Handle sensitive HR issues with tact and professionalism
  • Assist with performance reviews and succession planning
  • Manage time and meet deadlines
  • Provide input on continuous improvement for the Human Resources department
  • Work closely with Payroll and Health & Safety as required
  • Plan and execute employee events and meetings
  • Participate in special HR projects


Requirements:




  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration – Human Resources is preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience in multi-provincial legislation
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required
  • Strong computer skills working with MS Office applications and HRIS systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
