Human Resources Coordinator for Underground Mining Operations

We offer an attractive compensation package, including:
- $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in and supporting various HR programs and initiatives, including full cycle recruitment, onboarding, people and culture, policy and legislation knowledge, and all aspects of administrative tasks. This position requires the following proficiencies:
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with employees and leadership to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Full cycle recruitment, including attracting candidates, preparing job postings, interviewing, reference checks, preparing job offers, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Coordinate and organize administrative activities, including employee file maintenance, utilizing HRIS systems, preparing reports, etc.
- Provide support researching and investigating ESA and MOL standards to update current policies and practices.
- Coordinate, schedule internal and external training programs, and ensure necessary documentation is maintained and filed.
- Handle sensitive HR issues with high degree of tact, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Assist Regional Manager with formal investigations and process documents.
- Administer performance review process, manage performance improvement plans, and succession planning.
- Manage time and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Human Resources department, including policies, procedures, and processes.
About You:
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships. They should possess:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration - Human Resources preferred.
- Knowledge of multi-provincial legislation and experience in HR best practices.
- Bilingualism (French and English) required.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications, and experience with HRIS systems.
