Job Summary

Role Description

This is a critical senior leadership position in our Institutional Client Credit Management team. The successful candidate will lead a team of experienced credit professionals, responsible for managing a high-profile trading credit portfolio and facilitating transactions for our corporate and non-banking financial institution clients.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead a team of credit professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective team strategies, driving business growth, and improving client satisfaction.

Credit Management and Risk Assessment

  • Manage a high-profile trading credit portfolio, including evaluating and screening credit requests, preparing risk assessments, and coordinating the documentation process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and providing timely support for credit requirements.

Relationship Management and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain relationships with RBC Capital Markets coverage professionals, Group Risk Management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, enhancing credit management and identifying business opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in credit management, risk assessment, or a related field, preferably within a financial institution.
  • Strong credit analysis skills, including the ability to evaluate financial statements, identify credit risks, and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
