Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Institutional Client Credit Management team. As a key member of our North American team, you will be responsible for managing a trading credit portfolio and facilitating transactions originated by our various trading businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in managing a trading credit portfolio and facilitating transactions.
  • Partner with various trading businesses in Global Markets to identify and recommend suitable trading counterparties.
  • Evaluate and screen requests, prepare transaction requests and risk assessments, and coordinate the trading documentation process.
  • Optimize revenues and maintain relationships with Global Markets sales and trading professionals and counterparties.
  • Drive collaboration across the team, the front office, and functional partners while maintaining sound risk management principles and supporting business growth.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or other quantitative fields.
  • People management experience and a minimum of 6 years of credit experience working within the financial institutions.
  • Strong credit skills and specific knowledge of trading credit.
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written) and understanding and knowledge of fund industry and securities regulations governing funds.
  • Strong understanding of RBC trading products, including FX, swaps, and securities finance.
