About the Opportunity

This is a key role in our organization where you will have the opportunity to work on various business functions, incorporating your understanding of business processes, risk assessment techniques, GAAP, and statutory accounting principles. You will be responsible for identifying risks and testing controls associated with financial integrity, operational effectiveness, compliance with rules and regulations, and systems and data integrity.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance reviews, developing and executing specific testing procedures and documenting test results.
  • Analyze findings and test results, arriving at sound fact-based conclusions and recommendations for problem areas noted.
  • Prepare documentation in adherence to internal audit professional standards, best practices, and Corporate Audit's methodology.
  • Contribute to the preparation of issues and findings, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Consistently adhere to internal audit professional standards, best practices, and Corporate Audit's methodology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

We offer an estimated annual salary of $85,000-$115,000, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, wellness programs, and volunteer encouragement. Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor or similar designation.
  • Working knowledge of risk assessment, accounting, and auditing principles.
  • Introductory understanding of the relationships between financial, operational, and technology risks and controls, as well as the insurance industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field.
