Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Pluming Eagle Lodge Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Child and Youth Worker will provide support and guidance to children and youth in a group home setting, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Assess and address the needs of clients, including their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote client growth and development
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in daily living activities, including housekeeping and food preparation
  • Supervise and monitor client activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Liaise with other service providers and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform daily living activities
