Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

We are seeking a skilled Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Pluming Eagle Lodge Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Child and Youth Worker will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children and youth in a group home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and youth, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories for clients
  • Assess clients' needs and eligibility for specific services
  • Perform administrative tasks and implement life skills workshops
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of specific services within the community
  • Supervise activities of clients and provide support and guidance as needed
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers involved with clients
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience working with children and youth
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with clients with special needs
