We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Flood Management Specialist. About the Role

The Flood Management Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing flood management strategies and plans
  • Conducting flood hazard and risk assessments, and providing recommendations for mitigation and adaptation measures
  • Providing technical expertise and support to government and municipalities on flood-related issues
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities to reduce flood risks and improve community resilience
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to achieve our flood management goals
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as water resources management, environmental science, or a related discipline
  • At least 6 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in flood management, climate change adaptation, and environmental science
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
