Help Desk Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Professional to join our team at Caregiver Placement Canada. As a Technical Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our users, resolving their issues in a timely and efficient manner.
About the Role:
This is a permanent position that requires 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person
- Resolve technical issues related to computer systems, networks, and software
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
- Provide customer service
- Manage incidents
