About the Opportunity

The Agency by Workland is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Media Manager to join our marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to reinforce our brand image and achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an annual public relations plan to align with our strategic objectives
  • Establish and maintain proactive relationships with the media, suggest interview opportunities, and support our spokesperson by drafting key messages and press releases
  • Write and distribute information briefs and other materials to promote our positions, initiatives, achievements, and events
  • Evaluate the impact of media activities and provide recommendations for improving these initiatives and identifying communication issues
  • Design and implement internal and external communication strategies for various target audiences, writing and editing various documents, reports, and communication tools
  • Participate in representation events to support our management and presidency
  • Prepare and accompany senior management at major events by providing briefing notes, key messages, and speeches
  • Work closely with the communications department to provide updates, identify trends, and improve the quality and consistency of services
  • Monitor ongoing PR opportunities and optimize communications initiatives
Requirements
  • A university degree in relevant fields, such as communications, marketing, public relations, or other related fields
  • At least 5 years' experience relevant to the position
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Proven proficiency in the use of digital platforms and analytics tools, including WordPress, Google Analytics, and Meltwater
  • Excellent understanding of local media and how they work
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
