Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Chevron Town Pantry. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our employees and management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Budget and Expenditure Planning: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to support business objectives.
- Occupational Classification: Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure fair compensation and accurate job postings.
- Training and Development: Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Communication Strategies: Oversee the development of communication strategies to engage employees and promote a positive work environment.
- Senior Management Support: Advise senior management on HR-related matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure fair treatment and resolution of employee concerns.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
- Work Environment and Safety: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
- Project Management: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful implementation.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
