Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at VOIX CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, and labourers.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is safe and secure.
  • Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training, and ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their tasks.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, and ensure that projects are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
Work Environment:

The work site environment is outdoors, noisy, and at heights. The work setting is construction, commercial, industrial, residential, restoration, and service. The work conditions and physical capabilities require the ability to work under pressure, and to work overtime as required.
