About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at VOIX CONSTRUCTION INC. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, including preparing production and other reports, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 workers, including bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, floor covering installers, roofers, electrical appliances installers, kitchen cupboard and vanity installers, and labourers.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that workers are provided with a safe working environment.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project completion.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are required to effectively communicate with workers, management, and clients.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, overtime required, and work at heights.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
