About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Specialist to join our Canadian Banking Branch network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers throughout their financial journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver trusted financial advice and customized solutions to customers
  • Provide a full range of financial products and services using a financial planning approach
  • Understand customers' financial goals and preferences, analyzing their needs and recommending strategies to help them achieve their objectives
  • Focus on complex solutions and comprehensive financial planning
  • Drive results and engagement
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, customers, and partners
  • Build strong relationships with customers, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long-standing relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience selling investment and credit products
  • Demonstrated sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French
  • Licence to sell mutual funds and working towards the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent)

Language Requirement

Pursuant to a language needs assessment, the successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to work closely with other groups and serve an English and French-speaking clientele.
