About the Role:

As a key member of the branch sales team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our Investment & Personal Banking division. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance and manage relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients, focusing on achieving and surpassing investment and deposit sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a passion for financial sales while providing reliable financial guidance on intricate investment and retirement strategies.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to identify customer needs and listen attentively to their objectives.
  • Conduct thorough assessments for your assigned clients, covering areas such as retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, to develop tailored financial strategies.
  • Engage actively with clients, offering valuable insights and expert advice.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners to foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring an exceptional client experience and nurturing long-term connections with existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or an equivalent recognized by the bank).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
  • Proven sales management experience with the ability to promote Scotiabank's services.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients, peers, and partners.
