About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-centric Senior Investment Specialist to join our Canadian Banking Branch network. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients throughout their financial journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and preferences.
  • Analyze clients' financial needs and recommend customized financial solutions using a financial planning approach.
  • Provide a full range of financial products and services to clients, including investment and credit products.
  • Focus on complex solutions and comprehensive financial planning to meet clients' evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with peers, customers, and partners to deliver exceptional client experiences and grow long-standing relationships.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience in sales and marketing of investment and credit products.
  • Demonstrated sales management experience and the ability to market Scotiabank's products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • A license to sell mutual funds and working towards the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent).
