Job Summary

Provident Security is a leading provider of comprehensive security solutions, offering a wide range of services including security system installation, monitoring, and maintenance. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Security Systems Technician to join our team.

About the Role

As a Low Voltage Security Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems for our residential and commercial clients. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and service DSC NEO and Honeywell VISTA series security alarm systems
  • Work with clients to understand their security needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and repair security systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that our clients receive the latest and most effective security solutions

Requirements

  • Completion of Security System Technician Trade Qualification (asset but not required)
  • Current security license (able to obtain if not already held)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Take pride in doing a job correctly the first time
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find the best solutions for our clients
