Position Overview: Alarm Technician

We are seeking a talented Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will engage directly with our primarily residential clientele to install and maintain DSC NEO and Honeywell VISTA series security alarm systems. Our commitment to quality means that we never compromise on our installations, whether it involves alarms, cameras, access control, or medical systems. You will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, serving as a professional resource to install, service, troubleshoot, and propose solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of Security System Technician Trade Qualification is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a security license; candidates must be 19 years or older, have no criminal record, and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Commitment to executing tasks correctly on the first attempt.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a knack for identifying optimal solutions for clients.

Note: Our technicians typically operate during standard Monday to Friday business hours, although we are open to alternative schedules such as a Tuesday to Saturday work week or a condensed 4 x 10 hour work week.
