Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a Security Systems Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation and servicing of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
  • Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems.
  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components.
  • Assist in system design and layout.
  • Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries.
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities.
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates to project managers and completing and filing project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, CCTV, and pre-wiring is desirable but not required.
