We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pump Jacks Saloon and Steakhouse. Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of food inventory, sales, and waste.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure that customer feedback is acted upon and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on food sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, training, and performance.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Ability to stand for long periods, with frequent walking and standing.
- Personal Qualities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
