Over-the-Road Truck Driver

Garry's Moving & Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
- Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to optimize routes and reduce transit times.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, including driver logbooks, inspection reports, and maintenance reports.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure efficient routing.
- Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Experience: Previous experience as a long-haul truck driver is an asset
- Language: Fluency in English
