Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of your vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless coordination with our team.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 50-hour workweek.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
