We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at IPEX Group of Companies. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with the maintenance management team to prioritize and assign work orders.
- Manage inventory and requisition new and spare parts as needed.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) to track and analyze maintenance data.
- Optimize preventative maintenance work orders to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Identify and address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems, 5S, and energy conservation initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a plastics manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Strong understanding of CMMS and industrial maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and 5S methodology.
- Above-average planning, organizational, and scheduling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
