Electrical Project Engineer Role
CIMA+ is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Energy & Resources team. As a key member of our electrical power team, you will play a crucial role in the realization of large-scale industrial electrical projects in Quebec.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute industrial electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate project design and execution activities, ensuring seamless communication and effective project management.
- Conduct technical studies, dimensioning calculations, risk analyses, and cost estimates to inform project decisions.
- Develop and review technical specifications and study reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support to project teams and customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electricity, with a strong background in project management and technical expertise.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Fluency in spoken and written French, with a strong understanding of industrial electrical standards and regulations.
