Project Management Leader

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate large-scale projects.
  • Oversee technical drawings and address any project-related inquiries.
  • Identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
  • Approve monthly invoices and manage payment requests.
  • Coordinate budget preparation and expense projections.
  • Validate monthly accounts.
  • Supervise project closures, ensuring adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the team.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Identify and recruit talented individuals.
  • Manage job descriptions and resource allocation.
  • Develop and mentor the project management team.
  • Foster positive team relationships.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large projects exceeding $30 million.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil/electrical/industrial construction projects.
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ).
  • Strong communication, management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on prioritization.
  • Open-minded and adaptable to change.
  • Initiative, leadership, and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
