General Manager

Citadel + Compagnie is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our team for a 12-month maternity leave contract, with potential for extension. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dance company, including contracting, communications, website management, grant writing, fundraising, and board coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate a dynamic team of staff to ensure clear and timely communication of organizational plans and activities.
- Create and distribute contracts for staff, artists, designers, and collaborators, and liaise with unions as required.
- Assist with touring and performance agreements, and co-production and presentation agreements for artists and partners.
- Develop and communicate project information and schedules with artists, residency program participants, and project partners.
- Support the management of Citadel LIVE ticket sales and promotions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in development, particularly in corporate fundraising and foundation requests.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Open to job sharing proposals and flexible work hours.
