Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team in New York. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our shows, managing front-of-house staff, and overseeing the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Performance and Service Excellence: Support the General Manager in achieving revenue targets and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- Operational Management: Manage processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase yield.
- Front-of-House Management: Hire, train, and manage front-of-house staff, including box office, facilities support, and customer service teams.
- Food and Beverage Partnership: Oversee the 3rd-party F&B partnership responsible for operating the on-site restaurant and in-theater service.
- Merchandise Strategy: Manage the official merchandise strategy, including design, fulfillment, and sales with a 3rd-party vendor.
- Training Center Operations: Ensure an excellent teacher and student experience, and implement a successful enrollment strategy.
- Building Maintenance: Manage general building needs and maintenance.
- 5+ years of experience in supporting revenue performance and service excellence in entertainment, theatre, hospitality, or sports organizations.
- Operational experience managing processes that result in reduced costs, a higher quality customer experience, and greater yield.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
