Assistant General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Equinox Fitness Clubs in San Fernando Valley. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional member experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Influence and inspire a dynamic workforce to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage Front Desk, Maintenance, and Kids' club departments to meet Equinox brand standards
  • Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to payroll and supply budgets
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and member satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to support ancillary departments and sales initiatives
  • Monitor and report on departmental performance and provide insights for business growth
  • Ensure the club adheres to Equinox's company standards for cleanliness and risk management
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in an operational management industry with 1-3 years of management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High-touch customer service experience preferred
  • Effective time management and follow-up skills
  • Financial management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
