Position Summary

Are you a registered nurse dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care? As a critical member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Your exceptional communication and analytical skills will enable you to work effectively with colleagues and make informed decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

* Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department according to established standards and policies.
* Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and safe patient transfers.

Requirements

* Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
* Completion of a post-graduate Critical Care or Emergency Department course, or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in operating related equipment and maintaining accurate records.
