Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Management Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing public relations strategies for a variety of clients within the consumer lifestyle sector. This includes leading and overseeing the overall direction of multiple accounts, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies for clients
- Lead and oversee account teams' performance, ensuring quality work and efficient processes
- Manage client expectations, budgets, and team efficiencies
- Anticipate clients' strategic needs, both long and short term
- Assist with new business development and organic client growth
- Oversee media and influencer relations, with a focus on delivering exceptional program results
- Mentor and provide clear direction/support to junior team members
- Manage large program budgets, ensuring accurate billing of time and hard costs
Requirements
- A postgraduate degree in public relations, marketing communications, journalism, business or similar background
- 7-9 years of directly related experience; strong technical and creative writing skills are a must
- Business development abilities with a track record of success
- Excellent project management skills with strong organizational and planning skills
- Creative and strategic with demonstrated success in client account management
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian media landscape with existing media relationships and key contacts
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
