The Association for New Canadians is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing settlement and integration services for immigrants and refugees. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Strategic Programs and Research.

This role will oversee the development and evaluation of client service programs, secure new funding sources, and provide oversight for research initiatives within the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading complex projects and initiatives, managing relationships with government and partner organizations, and driving impactful newcomer-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of new programs that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals
  • Provide oversight on the organization's contribution agreements to ensure compliance
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and lead the development and submission of high-quality proposals
  • Collaborate with program leads to oversee the timely completion and submission of narrative and data funder reports
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program outcomes and inform continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Business, or Public Administration
  • Extensive experience in proposal writing and program management
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to drive impactful initiatives and manage relationships with stakeholders
