Experiential Learning Platform Seeks Bilingual Sales Representative

Riipen, a pioneering experiential learning platform, is seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Sales/Business Development Representative to join our team. Founded in 2013 by Dana Stephenson and Dave Savory, Riipen addresses the pressing issue of underemployment among students. Our innovative technology platform has enabled over 193,000 students at 590+ post-secondary institutions to participate in applied learning with 31,000+ companies. Salary and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, paid sick leave, and a generous annual vacation allowance. As a remote worker, you'll enjoy flexibility and autonomy in your work environment.

Job Description

In this role, you'll be responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and converting employers into active customers on our platform. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting innovative prospecting and lead generation strategies
  • Independently conducting discovery calls and conversations to educate clients on the benefits of experiential learning
  • Maintaining active engagement with new and existing employer leads through creative email outreach
  • Accurately recording activity and contact information in HubSpot (CRM)
  • Building strong relationships with employers and assisting with platform training and project ideation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Fluency in oral and written English and French
  • Previous professional experience carrying a quota or working with targets in sales or business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment
  • The ability to consistently deliver exceptional results on demanding timelines
