Community Therapists - Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community setting. As a Community Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of funders to assist clients with a range of limitations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional assessments and job site visits to identify client needs and develop graduated activity and return to work plans
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and implement therapeutic strategies to facilitate client success and independence in home and community settings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including PTs, Kinesiologists, and Counsellors, to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Current membership with COTBC or eligibility for registration
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
