Job Summary

Community Therapists is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of funders to assist clients with a range of limitations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Assessments to identify client needs and develop Graduated Activity and/or Graduated Return to Work plans
  • Perform Job Site Visits to assess client work environments and provide recommendations for accommodations
  • Liaise with client healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and implement therapeutic strategies to facilitate client success and independence
  • Conduct Home Assessments to determine equipment, support, and attendant care needs for clients with ADL difficulties
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • Current membership with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) or eligibility for registration
