This role is vital in supporting Veterans Rehabilitation Services, providing an opportunity to positively impact the lives of Canadian Veterans facing service-related health challenges that affect their daily functioning.
We are looking for an enthusiastic occupational therapist to contribute to our team. In this position, you will be tasked with delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services, which include assessments, interventions, and evaluations. The ideal candidate will be eager to work alongside an interdisciplinary health team and engage with clients who have served in the military or are navigating vocational changes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in occupational therapy Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia 3-5 years of experience in providing occupational therapy services to a diverse clientele Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamKey Responsibilities:
Perform assessments to identify clients' occupational therapy requirements Create and execute personalized treatment plans for clients Deliver occupational therapy interventions and assessments across physical, cognitive, and psychosocial domains.
