Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Saiish Enterprises Inc DBA Husky. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and reconcile accounts as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
