About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 0892178 B.C. LTD. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and other accounting software.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide physical accessibility accommodations and awareness training to employees.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship and cultural competency training.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and provide awareness training.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Offer mentorship programs and diversity training.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
