Airport Security Role at GardaWorld

GardaWorld is currently hiring Airport Security Officers for a dynamic team in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the traveling public. As an Airport Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Screening the traveling public and their belongings
  • Ensuring non-permitted items do not enter the secure area
  • Controlling access to restricted areas
  • Responding to alarms and reporting any events, illegal acts, or violations
  • Participating in emergency operations within the airport

What We Offer

We provide a competitive hourly rate of $21.07-$25.39 and comprehensive health benefits. We guarantee a minimum of 20 hours of work per week and provide a uniform at no cost to you. Additionally, we offer opportunities for growth and development within our company, with 26% of our frontline employees being promoted to corporate teams.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible for RAIC (security clearance)
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be located near Sudbury, ON, or willing to relocate before starting
