Job Summary

We are seeking a Family Physician to join our team at the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre. As a Family Physician, you will provide primary health care services to clients in correctional centres, working alongside other healthcare experts to provide quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary health care services to clients in correctional centres
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address mental health and addiction challenges
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support

Requirements

  • Eligible for provisional or full licensure with CPSBC
  • Certification with the College of Family Physicians, or equivalent, is mandatory
  • Experience in working with patients with mental health and addiction challenges
  • Experience in correctional health and/or additional certification or training
