Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at WAHTA CONVENIENCE HEAD OFFICE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our kitchen staff and ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Food Procurement and Inventory Management
Requisition food and kitchen supplies from reputable vendors to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
Staff Supervision and TrainingSupervise and co-ordinate the activities of food service staff, including kitchen and food service helpers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Culinary ExpertiseDevelop and maintain knowledge of our culinary genres and menu items, including daily specials, to provide exceptional customer service.
Recipe Development and Menu PlanningCreate new recipes and menu items that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
Stock Management and OrderingOrder stock and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
Staff Scheduling and Workload ManagementSet staff work schedules and manage workload to ensure that we are meeting our customer service standards.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
Certifications and LicensesSafe Food Handling certificate and other relevant certifications.
Personal QualitiesClient focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and initiative.
